Order and GST billing app for hardware and building material dealers
For dealers in steel, cement, tiles, pipes, paints and hardware. Quote the contractor, deliver against a challan, bill with freight, and let your regular shops order from their own link at their price.
Built around the way you already work
A contractor wants a quotation today and the order next week.
Make a quotation in Vanigam and convert it to a sale in one tap when they confirm. No retyping.
Goods go to the site before the bill is made.
Send a delivery challan with the goods; stock goes out with it. Convert the challan to the sale bill later, and stock is not taken out twice.
Loading, freight and cutting charges get forgotten.
Add freight and other charges on the bill itself. They are taxed at the main item’s rate, as GST requires, and don’t touch stock.
Dealer, contractor and walk-in rates are all different.
Make price lists such as Dealer or Contractor, with quantity slabs, and give them to customers. Bills fill the right rate automatically, and you can still change it.
Pipes by the piece, fittings by the box.
Box and piece units on the same item, so you bill either way and stock stays right.
Transport and vehicle details are asked for later.
Record transport and dispatch details on the bill.
A few customers run up too much credit.
Set a credit limit for each customer. A credit bill that would cross it is stopped unless you choose to override it.
Item details for hardware and building materials
Keep grade, size and thickness on the item instead of in the item name. Vanigam suggests these for hardware and building materials, and you can print them under the item name on the bill.

- Grade
- Size / diameter

Your shops order from your catalogue, at their price
Send each retailer their own order link on WhatsApp. It opens in the browser, with no app to install. They pick from your catalogue at the price you set for them (wholesale, retail or no prices) and place the order. It lands in Vanigam as a sale order that becomes a GST bill in one tap.

Common questions
Can I convert a quotation to a bill?
Yes. Quotations and proforma invoices convert to a sale bill in one tap, with the same lines. A quotation can’t be converted twice.
How do delivery challans work?
A delivery challan sends goods out and takes them off stock. When you bill, convert the challan to a sale: the lines carry over and stock is not deducted again.
Can I add freight to a GST bill?
Yes. Add freight and other charges on the bill. They are taxed at the rate of the main item on the bill, and they don’t change stock.
